My aim is to ensure that dancers bodies can handle the demands of their performances whilst promoting a strong and healthy mindset towards their training, leading to a successful and lengthy career in dance.
The programme has no dance element included, and instead uses strength & conditioning methods to develop the skills required to successfully execute dance techniques by ensuring postural alignment, core strength and specific muscle groups are working together at the optimal levels to increase power in performance.
Coaching can be delivered onsite in a group setting or remotely via the TrueCoach platform.
I started Irish Dancing at the age of 6 and went on to achieve great success at competitive level, including top placements in Southern Englands, All Irelands, Great Britains, British Nationals and The World Championships.
In 2001 I joined Michael Flatley’s “Lord of the Dance”, taking the lead role of Saoirse (the good girl) and toured globally for 11 years with this production and with “Feet of Flames” and “Celtic Tiger”.
In 2013 I qualified as a TCRG under CLRG (An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gealacha - The Irish Dancing Commission), while also co-choreographing the highly successful “TitanicDance”.
Following my own experiences in competitive and professional dance and using my knowledge and training in the fitness industry I am launching TRÉAN - Dance Strong.
My passion now is to educate and train dancers, dance teachers & choreographers in effective methods to help build strength and maintain fitness levels required for elite athletic performance.
